Shiba Inu Lead Shytoshi Kusama Replies Community Member Who Called Him “Fraudulent”

Lead developer for Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, reiterates his dedication to SHIB and its overarching goal, regardless of the community’s acceptance of him.

Kusama stated he has done well for Shiba Inu in an X post from yesterday, implying that his actions have always been in the best interests of the project with a dog theme.

Kusama revealed the information in a conversation with a community member. Kusama began the conversation by sending a Spotify link to the tune “Una Velita,” which is a song by Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny.

Shytoshi Kusama Sympathizes With Puerto Rico’s Hurricane Victims

To put things in perspective, the rapper honored Puerto Rico for its resilience and show of fortitude in the wake of the 2017 hurricane that claimed lives and destroyed property. The Shiba Inu chief responded to the song with empathy and said he hoped his prayer had helped bring about a quiet storm on the island.

In a subsequent statement, Kusama attacked locals who fled Puerto Rico following the catastrophic disaster to live opulent lives elsewhere. He hinted that these individuals will ultimately pay a price for their deeds.

Kusama Responds to Community Member

Seydi2204 attacked Kusama and other well-known Shiba Inu community members, such as Kaal Dhairya and RagnarShib, in a comment on the page, branding them “dishonest “fraudulent” and “immoral.”

Kusama reacted to the remarks, stressing that he has only performed well for SHIB and will do so until he succeeds in realizing the goals set forth by the pseudonymous creator of Shiba Inu, Ryoshi. Kusama stated that he intends to achieve this objective with or without support from detractors.

Notably, decentralization is the main emphasis of Ryoshi’s vision. The founder intended for the community to govern Shiba Inu entirely. But in 2022, Ryoshi gave up on the Shiba Inu project and removed all of their social media content. Kusama assumed the reins of leadership as a result, turning SHIB into a formidable organization.

Even though the price of Shiba Inu has drastically decreased since it peaked in October 2021 at $0.00008845, the ecosystem team has worked very hard to maintain the project.

Notable projects within the cryptocurrency ecosystem at press time include Shib Hub and Shibarium, a layer-2 blockchain solution. It is anticipated that these initiatives will clear the path for a future rally of Shiba Inus.

Shiba Inu Team Takes Blame for SHIB’s Poor Performance

Nonetheless, the team has continued to face opposition and censure from community members. The most recent comment reflects a rising dissatisfaction among community members who still blame the team for SHIB’s poor performance. They think the team hasn’t done anything to bring SHIB back to its peak in 2021.

It is noteworthy that in October 2021, Shiba Inu achieved its all-time high. Following the 2021 bull run, Shiba Inu saw a significant decline, much as every other cryptocurrency on the market. Shiba Inu’s price has dropped 83.47% from its ATH to $0.0000146 at this time.

However, the Kusama-led Shiba Inu ecosystem team has ignored the token’s short-term price movements in favor of concentrating on the token’s potential future growth.

To attain significant long-term growth, the team has released noteworthy projects like Shiba Eternity and an automatic burn portal that may increase interest and adoption in SHIB.

Final Thoughts

Shytoshi Kusama’s continued commitment to Shiba Inu (SHIB) and its decentralized vision, despite community criticism, reflects his resilience as a leader within the project. Kusama’s recent defense of his contributions, while under fire from some disgruntled community members, underscores his belief that he is acting in the project’s best interest.

His focus on long-term goals rather than short-term price movements aligns with Ryoshi’s vision of a decentralized, community-governed token. While the price of SHIB has significantly fallen since its peak in 2021, Kusama and his team remain focused on building infrastructure, such as Shibarium, that could lay the foundation for future growth.

However, the community’s growing dissatisfaction with SHIB’s underperformance highlights the tension between expectation and reality. Some community members accuse the leadership of failing to revive SHIB’s market value, suggesting that the team’s efforts have not yet translated into tangible financial gains for investors.

Despite launching initiatives like Shiba Eternity and the token burn mechanism, Kusama’s team faces the challenge of balancing long-term development with the immediate concerns of the SHIB community. Whether the projects spearheaded by Kusama will ultimately drive a market turnaround remains to be seen, but his unwavering dedication is evident.
